The fifth in UrbanToronto’s series covering Toronto City Council’s extra-large July, 2026 planning docket turns to five of the developments appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal, with Council supporting settlements for them.
Following our quick-approval stories covering Toronto and East York Community Council, Etobicoke-York and North York Community Councils, and Scarborough Community Council, as well as our look at proposals amended and approved following debate, the five settlements covered here advance 3,041 residential units, 353 fewer than originally proposed. The total comprises 1,357 condominiums, 419 rental homes, including 83 affordable rentals, and 1,265 units whose tenure has not yet been specified. All the numbers are detailed below.
