Site Plan Application Advances Housing Now Towers at Six Points

August 14, 2026

A Site Plan Approval application (SPA) has been submitted for 28- and 43-storey rental towers at 970 Kipling Avenue, a City-owned Housing Now site in Toronto’s Six Points area. Proposed by Kilmer Group and CreateTO, the submission includes new renderings by Hariri Pontarini Architects, Design Architect, with Graziani + Corazza Architects now acting as Architect of Record.

The 8,723m² property occupies Block 5 of the seven-block Bloor-Kipling redevelopment, at the northwest corner of Dundas Street West and Kipling Avenue in Islington City Centre. Currently vacant except for a temporary construction office, it is among seven City-owned development blocks created across 7.24 hectares by replacing the former Six Points interchange with a new street network.
